Khanh is Portfolio Manager of the VinaCapital Vietnam Opportunity Fund (LSE: VOF), a USD1.2 billion closed-end fund listed on the London Stock Exchange and a FTSE-250 company that has delivered an 878% return since its inception.
Khanh is involved with the fund’s privately negotiated investment opportunities into private equity, listed equities, and fixed income. He leads a team of twenty investment professionals to execute on the fund’s strategy, ensuring that VOF continues to be the top performer amongst similar sized Vietnam peers. Since joining VinaCapital in 2010, he has been a voting member of VOF’s investment committee. Additionally, Khanh is a Board Director of VCG Partners, the company’s regulated business in Singapore, and a Board Director of VinaCapital Investment Management, the Guernseydomiciled investment manager of several funds and investment strategies, including VOF. Prior to joining VinaCapital, Khanh spent eight years with Macquarie Bank based in New York and Sydney, where he was involved in fund management and investment banking activities. Prior to that, he worked for Deloitte and Arthur Andersen in Sydney. Khanh holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees, both from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, and a Graduate Diploma
