Ms. Duyen has extensive experience in cross-border M&A and financing transactions in Vietnam, with a strong focus on the financial services, fintech, technology, regulated services, energy and infrastructure, and real estate sectors. With 20 years of practice in the Vietnamese market, she has consistently been recognized as a Leading Lawyer in Vietnam by IFLR1000 and Legal500 and as an Elite Practitioner by Asialaw.

She has been awarded Asialaw Vietnam Female Lawyer of the Year, ALB Asia Top 15 Female Lawyers, IFLR Asia Best Lawyers and IFLR1000 Women Leaders.

Michael is a lead Partner in Deal Advisory and has over 20 years of experience with the Big 4 principally focused on capital markets and corporate mergers and acquisitions transactions, deal execution and project management in multiple major locations including Melbourne, Sydney, New York, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, London and Singapore.

His major location experience with the Big-4 include: Melbourne (4 years), New York (3 years), Hong Kong (4 years), Mainland China (3 years) London (3 years) and Singapore (4 years).

His principal experience is on transactions in the Private Equity, Private Credit and Financial Services sectors consisting of primarily large and medium scale buyouts and growth investments including buy-side and sell-side / vendor support engagements across Europe and Asia Pacific.

He is presently based in Ho Chi Minh and responsible for leading KPMG’s Deal Advisory practice in Vietnam and Cambodia. This includes assisting clients with respect to the following services:

• Transaction Services (Due diligence and Integration & Separation);
• Corporate Finance (Mergers & Acquisitions and Valuations);
• Turnaround & Restructuring;
• Deal Strategy (Value Creation and Commercial due diligence); and
• Infrastructure Advisory.

His role also entails him working closely with KPMG’s member firms within ASPAC to coordinate and lead engagements for outbound investment as well as foreign clients investing and operating within the region.

Michael is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA: ICAEW and CA: CA ANZ) and also holds a Graduate Diploma of Accounting, Graduate Diploma of Taxation Law, Masters of Professional Accounting, and Masters of Finance degrees.

Majima has been engaged in cross-border M&A transactions at RECOF Corporation for over 25 years. His experience includes:
- Since RECOF’s entry into Vietnam in 2011, involvement in the completion of over 15 transactions between Vietnam and Japan, in such sectors as consumer finance, manufacturing, distribution, logistics and real estate development,
- Active promotion and support of dozens of other transactions between Vietnam and Japan, in various sectors ranging from retail, food, packaging, IT service, marketing, engineering and energy,
- Japan outbound transactions, advising Japanese companies to invest in Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand as well as the US, France, Germany, Italy, etc.,

Mr. Lester Tan Teck Chuan, born in 1966, is a Singaporean national. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Willamette University and holds a master’s degree from New York University (USA). He is also introduced as having more than 30 years of experience in the beer and beverage industry across the markets of Thailand, Myanmar, Mongolia, and Singapore.

Throughout his career, he has contributed to creating positive changes and driving business growth for the companies he has led.

Khanh is Portfolio Manager of the VinaCapital Vietnam Opportunity Fund (LSE: VOF), a USD1.2 billion closed-end fund listed on the London Stock Exchange and a FTSE-250 company that has delivered an 878% return since its inception.
Khanh is involved with the fund’s privately negotiated investment opportunities into private equity, listed equities, and fixed income. He leads a team of twenty investment professionals to execute on the fund’s strategy, ensuring that VOF continues to be the top performer amongst similar sized Vietnam peers. Since joining VinaCapital in 2010, he has been a voting member of VOF’s investment committee. Additionally, Khanh is a Board Director of VCG Partners, the company’s regulated business in Singapore, and a Board Director of VinaCapital Investment Management, the Guernseydomiciled investment manager of several funds and investment strategies, including VOF. Khanh Nguyen has a robust background in real estate with over 20 years of experience. Currently the Acting General Director at Gamuda Land Vietnam, she has led the acquisition of five major projects in southern Vietnam—Artisan Park, Elysian, Springville, The Meadow, and Eaton Park—since joining in 2021.

Before joining Gamuda Land, Khanh served as Head of Capital Markets at JLL, where she specialised in investment advisory across a range of property sectors, including residential, office, industrial, mixed-use development sites, and income-generating assets. During her time at JLL, she successfully closed several notable transactions, including a joint venture between Hongkong Land and Hoa Lam for MarQ, a high-end residential project in District 1, HCMC, as well as the divestment of a residential development project in District 2, Thu Duc City.

Prior to her role at JLL, Khanh was Associate Director of Advisory Services at Savills Vietnam, where she managed real estate valuation, strategic planning, and project conceptual development consultancy throughout Southern Vietnam. Her clients included major players such as VinaCapital, Hongkong Land, and CFLD, along with prominent private equity firms and leading local developers like Vingroup, Novaland, and FLC

Dinh The Anh is Partner and Head of Corporate Finance at KPMG Vietnam where he has built one of the most active and trusted M&A advisory teams in the market. Under his leadership, KPMG has consistently closed the largest number of mid-market deals in Vietnam, earning a reputation for delivering strategic value and seamless execution for both local and international clients.

With over 15 years of experience spanning investment banking, private equity, and M&A advisory, The Anh brings deep expertise in structuring complex transactions across sectors such as consumer goods, technology, healthcare, and renewable energy. Since joining KPMG in 2018, he has led numerous landmark deals, including cross-border acquisitions, capital raising for high-growth companies, and strategic divestments for leading corporates.

Prior to KPMG, The Anh served as M&A Director at another Big 4 firm, and earlier led investment banking teams at top Vietnamese securities firms. He also worked as a fund manager in Singapore, managing a USD 75 million portfolio focused on Vietnam’s public equity market. The Anh holds an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (Netherlands) and a Bachelor of Law from Hanoi University (Vietnam).

Mr. Hugo Virag is Managing Director - Co-head of Astris Finance Southeast Asia, and Director of Astris Finance Vietnam. Astris Finance was established 25 years ago as the Latin America advisory arm of a leading European banking group specialized in public and project finance. Astris Finance became independent through an MBO in 2008. Since then, Astris Finance has grown global.

In the past 3 years, Astris Finance ranked in the top 3 in the IJ Global League Tables for Global Renewables financial advisory – and #1 for European Renewables. Mr. Virag has more than 20 years of experience as an energy and infrastructure financial advisor in Asia and Europe. His transaction experience encompasses project development and financing advisory, buy-side and sell-side M&As, as well as debt and equity market transactions.

Mr Virag opened the operation of Astris Finance Vietnam back in 2018.  Some of his most relevant transactions are the debt arrangement of first-of-their kind limited recourse project financing of wind and solar projects in Vietnam, buy-side and sell-side financial advisors on prominent M&A domestic and cross-border transactions.

Before moving to Asia, Hugo was senior manager with the management team of Galaxy Fund, an infrastructure focused fund sponsored by European Development Finance Institutions. Hugo started his career practicing law with the asset finance practice of international law firm Hogan & Hartston LLP (in New York, Paris and London).

Mr Virag graduated from the ESSEC & Mannheim Business Schools and University of Virginia Law School. He is the co-President of the Energy and Infrastructure Committee of the French Chamber of Commerce of Singapore.
